The Senior Accountant is an ideal opportunity for those who are detail-oriented and are experienced as Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing month-end closing processes, including general ledger analysis, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and roll forwards, all within tight deadlines. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls is essential.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a full-time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform month end closing processes within tight deadlines and ensure completion of financial statements (including general ledger analysis, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and roll forwards).
- Ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP and internal controls.
- Reconcile A/R activity to the general ledger; prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Reconcile and post cash receipts, credit cards, and disbursements.
- Prepare clear, organized account analysis of all balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain account reconciliation of various clearing accounts.
- Assist in the audit of subsystem interfaces to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and various financial analysis functions, including operational analyses and KPIs.
- Perform other duties and functions as directed and/or requested.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Public accounting and internal controls experience, a plus
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Healthcare industry experience, a plus
- Highly proficient with Excel, and accounting software packages (NetSuite or QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, auditing & cost control principles, theory & regulation
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$65,000-$85,000 annually
The compensation range for this position is between $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
