Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Experience with various equipment including but not limited to Cisco Firewalls, switches, routers and monitoring tools.
- Responsible for creation, management and administration of the network, data center, IT infrastructure, data backups, and disaster recovery capabilities. This includes cloud, server and virtual infrastructure
- Mentor NetOps team as to the best practices, design principles, and innovative thinking. Review and update a work-plan for the NetOps department annually.
- Participate in strategy development, short-term and long-term roadmaps as they relate to the organization's network, data center, IT infrastructure, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Identify new technology solutions and work closely with CIO to forecast future needs and develop cost effective strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensures network is in operational status using a variety of monitoring tools, reviews anomalies, bulletins, and alerts as they may apply to the network.
- Participate in the development of the IT department's annual budget.
- Creating and maintaining IT policies and systems to support the implementation of IT strategies. Includes annual review and updates of existing policies.
- Develops and maintains relationships with technology vendors and service providers to meet business needs.
- Responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity planning, configuration, maintenance and testing meeting business recovery time objectives and business recovery point objectives.
- Implements and maintains security best practices for maintaining availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the data stored and accessed on the network.
- Responsible for validating external requirements and ensuring regulatory compliance such as HIPAA, NIST, and SOC II.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of current trends and practices in the data and telecommunications fields.
- Represents CTS IT at meetings.
- Performance management for direct reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for a unit, department, or branch of the organization. Plans and schedules work, establishes standards, interprets and applies policy, may formulate procedures or initiate activities within the scope of the position. Reviews managers performance appraisals of staff and determines or recommends salary increase. Assist in the resolution of major personnel problems.
Pay Range: $85k-$95K per year
