We are currently seeking a full-time dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Dental assisting experience preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate. Monday-Thursday workweek with Fridays off and no weekends. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and help the dentist during patient examinations and other dental procedures. Between patients, you will clean exam rooms and replenish supplies. When not working with patients, you will also assist with administrative tasks, including lab work, answering phones, and organizing patient records as needed.
Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare patients to be seen by our dentists
· Help us maintain a sterile work environment by sanitizing dental instruments
· Set up instrument trays, treatment materials, and assist in basic dental procedures
· Take radiographs of patients’ teeth – if x-ray certified
· Collect, record, and maintain the dental health records of our patients
· Order dental supplies as needed to maintain the office’s inventory
· Provide patients with information on dental hygiene and oral health
