Job Summary
Incumbents in this position are responsible for assisting the Network Administrator with the maintaining and organizing enterprise and industrial communications networks and telephone (VOIP) system.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists with management of Network Services by troubleshooting network issues, installing of new equipment, supporting phone systems, and other Network functions as needed.
- Provide assistance to other IT staff in support of the organization and its customers.
- Establish and maintain network security standards and policies.
- Maintain system configuration files for all network equipment.
- Ensure network accessibility to all employees and remote support staff.
- Log and audit network traffic.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure network availability and uptime.
- Document and maintain network diagrams and schematics.
- Support the on-premises call center and work with the provider to ensure that service levels are maintained.
- Troubleshoot call routing and provider issues.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
In the event of an emergency, all employees are considered essential personnel and may be required to perform alternate duties.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer services, information technology or related course study.
- Three (3) years of work experience in information technology in a role such as Jr. Network Administrator, IT Specialist, or related work field.
- Requires CompTIA A+ certification.
- Network+, A+, CCNA Cisco Network Associate certifications are preferred.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid State of North Carolina driver's license.

Pay: $62,448.00 - $85,089.00 per year
