Pool Attendant:

What You Will Bring To This Role:
A Pool Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas while keeping all areas free of safety hazards .
Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
- Greets and communicates with guests; answer questions
- Check hotel guests room keys, ensuring they have proper access keys
- Oversees pool area (adult/children) to make sure everyone is safe
- Straightens pool furniture, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times
- Assists with set up and breakdown of pool activities as needed
- Pick up debris from the pool and possess basic cleaning skills
- Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to
- Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
- Provide assistance to co-workers and guests as needed.
- Report all guest accidents and employee injuries to a supervisor immediately.
- Notify supervisor of any guests’ complaints or comments.
- Perform other necessary duties as needed
- Must be aware and practice all emergency and safety procedures.
- Clean and stock bathrooms daily
- Refill and empty trash cans and pool towel cart as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors for a full eight (8) hours shift
- Walk and stand for a full shift
- Pushing and pulling carts; bending and stooping to pick up towels and debris
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Candidates must be able to speak, write, read and comprehend written and verbal English.
- Candidates should have availability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
