What You Will Do
The Sales Audit Associate will perform a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative accounting functions under general supervision in support of assigned department. In this role, you will audit and verify financial data, and invoice and reconcile accounts and payments.

Compensation:
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.
Expected Minimum Pay Rate: USD $20.04/Hr. Expected Maximum Pay Rate: USD $25.30/Hr. Responsibilities:
- Codes and enters into computer system a variety of financial data related to sales transactions; generates reports.

Performs detailed analysis and reconciliation of store sales and financial data, reconciling associated General Ledger accounts, properly applying payments and credits, and following up on any outstanding issues.

Demonstrates understanding of the flow and workings of Sales Audit, all aspects of bookkeeping accounting entries and retail store financial transactions.

Analyzes and communicates with stores to respond to inquiries on sales and financial transactions.

Communicates with customers and vendors by way of email, phone calls, and letters.

Prepares and posts accounting entries and adjustments.

Meets or exceeds deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication.

Microsoft Excel skills.

Bookkeeping experience preferred

Provides great customer service in order to field questions from stores related to financial transactions.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to reconcile all types of accounts (prepaids, accruals, suspense, liability) and assist other team members when necessary.

Ability to perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of accounts. Understand the flow and workings of the account. Understanding both sides of entries and the impact. No generalizations, all balance are validated, variances are identified and documented.
