Overview:
PACE Supply has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst for our Stockton, CA area. This position works within PACE Supply’s Mark Information System (MIS) and the Product File Team to create, maintain, and enhance product codes for ease of use by our quotations, warehouse, sales, purchasing and internal teams. They will be responsible for delivering a clear and concise description and pricing of the products to our customers and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Accurate Product File and Pricing
- Provide accurate pricing and maintain current data for products.

Maintain and organize vendor and product files.

Strong ability to use Excel.
Product Knowledge
-
Writing, editing, and enhancing product descriptions.

Preparing and analyzing product line and pricing comparisons.

Communicate with vendors to gather relevant new product data to be in sync with PACE product details and description.
Communication and product description consistency

Communicate with vendors and/PACE divisions on missing and incorrect existing product data.

Continue to enhance knowledge of PACE product offerings through training and communicate with respective PACE teams.

Understand and comprehend the naming convention set by the Product File Team.
Qualifications:
Minimum/Ideal Education:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
Minimum Work Experience and Skills:

1 year experience in inventory management.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, clients, and vendors.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-
Proper Phone Etiquette, Phocas Dashboards, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity, Effective written and oral communication.

Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic role, with a proactive attitude towards seeking out opportunities for skill development and advancement.
Ideal Work Experience:

2 years of inventory management.

Outstanding verbal and written communication and organization skills.

Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
