We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse for a Hospice RN position in the home hospice setting. This position offers a lot of flexibility, you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The pay and benefits are generous for this Hospice Registered Nurse Position. It is preferred that the RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurses who have at least 1 year of experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients. These hospice visits are done in the home setting. Because the Registered Nurse will manage the cases of their hospice patients in the home setting, the position is titled Hospice Case Manager. This Hospice Case Manager position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: It is preferred that the RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurse who have at least 1 year of recent experience working with adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in any of the following settings: rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Emergency Room, Emergency Department, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state.

- 3. This is not shift work, but is seeing multiple pt./day in their homes or senior living facilities. You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your salary plus you will get additional pay for mileage, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of home hospice?
