Our State of the Art office is looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic, and self-assured dental office receptionist. The ideal candidate would have experience with Dentrix, working in a high call volume office with multiple providers. They would also have experience working in an out-of-network PPO commercial insurance office.
Expectation: The Dental Office Coordinator will oversee the administrative operations in managing the day-to-day activities of the organization’s office as they relate to the dental office functions, which include but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and obtaining applicable information, including insurance information, to be sure the database is up to date and accurate. Establish and build great working relationships with patients, making sure they are receiving exemplary service in all areas of our practice.
- Provide above and beyond customer service to all patients, and visitors, in person and on the phone, assessing their needs and addressing them based upon established guidelines.
- Oversee scheduling of patients, cancellations and no-shows as well as ensures patient satisfaction with scheduling availability- problem solves with patients when necessary
- Schedule patients for dentists, and hygienists including follow-up visits, canceling and rescheduling appointments and working to keep the schedule filled-top priority is customer service and full schedule
- Work collaboratively with hygienists and assistants in being sure patient walk-outs and treatment is accurate
- Perform any/all tasks assigned by Doctor(s) or management
- Opening, closing, printing reports, entering insurance, pre-determinations, new patient phone calls, database entries, etc.
- Oversee patient accounts, financial agreements, and follow thru with accounts as necessary
- Treatment coordinating-track and present treatment needs, payment options and financial contracts
- Collect payment at time of service and assist in setting up a financial arrangement
- Schedule/create and manage scheduling systems to create productive day for all team members
- Ability to utilize 3rd party provider applications to assist with scheduling, patient communication, and enhancing the patient experience.
