JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor, analyze and control all labor and food costs; prepare reports, and schedules to ensure budgets are met
- Participate in the expansion of banquet and catering operations
- Supervises kitchen staff; including training, counseling, disciplining, and complete performance evaluations
- Supervise all cooking operations, including methods, portioning, and garnishing
- Requisition food and equipment, giving specifications, quantities and quality descriptions
- Ensure attractive presentation and quality of all food and dishes
- Meet guest needs by developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external customers
- Consistently remain self-driven, innovative and posses the commitment to become an industry leader
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Superb knife skill
- Mastery of protein and vegetable cookery
- Maintain excellent knowledge of current culinary trends
- Basic cost control knowledge
- Willingness to set a high standard in the kitchen through leading by example Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings and weekends
- Will have a passion for food and fresh ingredients
- Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guests
