HCI is seeking a qualified and experienced RF Technician in our Dallas, Texas branch.
The RF Technician must be able to design, program, install, optimize, maintain, troubleshoot and repair two-way radio and associated communications equipment & systems including mobile and portable subscriber units. Successful candidates will be motivated, customer service oriented, highly organized and detail oriented and professional in appearance,
Responsibilities:
- Conduct first level RF equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Program, install and maintain subscriber devices, specifically Motorola equipment
- Maintain detailed and organized customer records
- Work directly with management and customers to determine urgency, deadlines, and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the technical services field - land mobile radio experience a plus
- A strong technical aptitude and an ability to grasp concepts and practices quickly
- Associate’s degree (AS/AA) or technical training in the areas of electronics, computers, networking, RF or equivalent work experience (OJT).
- Intermediate knowledge of RF test equipment such as Transmission Impairment Test Sets, signal generators, RF service monitors, spectrum analyzers, Site Master, and LAN testers.
- Basic Computer and Networking skills.
- A strong customer focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
