Job Summary:
Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated individual, who has a passion for helping others, to fill our Personal Training Manager position. You will work in a fast-paced and upbeat atmosphere where you’ll have the opportunity to improve people’s lives through health and fitness. The ideal applicant will have at least 2 – 5 years of experience in the health and fitness industry and must hold a personal training certification. To be considered for this position, you must be a high-energy self-starter, have an extroverted personality, enjoy sales, and be a great motivator. You will be a representative of our brand.
You will serve as a fitness guidance counselor to all members, educator and mentor for training staff, and 'strategist' to the regional director in growing performance across multiple locations.
You will hold a key role in implementing the Member On-boarding Process, which includes, conducting Fitness Consultations, determining the right level of coaching and resources needed for each member to achieve their fitness goals, and managing member retention by ensuring meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member. You will also be responsible for working closely with the Sales Manager, helping with general upkeep of the club, and assisting in community outreach to positively influence member acquisition.
Compensation for this position consists of base pay, plus a commission based upon sales and performance. If you are not comfortable with having a percentage of your compensation based on performance, this role is not right for you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee trainers, coaching programs, and training services
- Manage and track performance to achieve sales targets
- Develop and implement sales plans to expand the training base
- Conduct fitness consultations
- Deliver personal training sessions and group training sessions
- Maintain member and client retention programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and training clients
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure company metrics are met
- Utilize various systems to track sales activities and manage customer interactions.
- Assist with the upkeep of the club
- Participate in community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote the club
Qualifications:
- Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals
- Personal training experience
- Customer service experience
- Sales experience
