Responsibilities:
- Experienced with optical simulation, including FDTD, BPM, FEM
- Experienced with optical test methods, including Mueller Matrix based optical chip testing, and the analysis of large datasets.
- Has solid understanding of the operation of AWGs, Mach Zehnder interferometers, coherent optical hybrids.
- Able to design the above components, as well as guiding the design through fabrication, testing, and packaging.
- Programming experience, preferably in Python
- Experienced with Git
- Interested in working in a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering or a similar field, with a focus on an optical technology or application.
- 5 years minimum work experience in the field of photonics.
- Applicants preferring work at the Fremont, California office must be US Citizens.
