The Boeing Company is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our 777X Structural Analysis team in Berkeley, MO .
The 777X program is actively completing certification deliverables for the passenger variant, developing a freighter variant and supporting production.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced, Senior, and Lead Level Structural Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Experienced (Level 3)
Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
Work under general direction
Senior (Level 4)
Lead development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design
Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Lead development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements
Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort
Work under minimal direction
Lead (Level 5)
Plan and organize structural analysis work at the program level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements
Develop, integrate and document complex or unique structural requirements to establish the system design
Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance of the product
Work with customers and regulatory agencies to define certification processes that will ensure requirements are met
Review and approve certification results
Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Define and organize test programs to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort
Investigate emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirements Work under consultative direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3+ years of experience with aircraft structural design or analysis engineering
3+ years of experience working with Finite Element Models (FEM) and tools (NASTRAN/PATRAN)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
(Level 4) 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
(Level 5) 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using Boeing-specific engineering tools and processes across multiple commercial programs
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior (level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Lead (level 5)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (experienced, level 3): 95,200 – 128,800
Summary pay range (senior, level 4): 115,600 – 156,400
Summary pay range (lead, level 5): 138,850 – 185,150
