Drew Executive Search is excited to partner with a locally-owned Texas firm that has been in business for 60+ years and is looking to add a Safe & Vault Technician to join their team to assist with increased work load in Houston, TX and the surrounding area. My client is well established in both Texas and Louisiana and has grown to become a single point of contact for physical security and financial equipment for banks and credit unions. This also includes access control, CCTVs, alarms and traditional locksmith services. The Safe & Vault Technician is a professional position that installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains: drive up banking equipment including pneumatic tubes, VATs and safes and vaults.
Education/Experience:
- 2 or more years experience installing and/or servicing drive up banking equipment, safes and vaults and troubleshooting that equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred but not required.
- Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
- Carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls.
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.
My client offers an hourly pay rate in the $20-$28/hr range plus a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits and training plus additional perks. All prospective candidates will be required to be licensed and bonded and will need to pass a criminal background, driving record and credit check.
