Duties and Responsibilities:
Each SLS Instructor’s duties shall include but not be limited to:
· Provide skills training and learning opportunities to individuals with mild intellectual disabilities.
· Remind individuals to take medication (if required)
· Remind individuals to complete household chores
· Assist individuals with meal preparation and grocery shopping
· Teach individuals how to budget their money
· Attend outings and community events with other individuals and staff from the company.
· Provide transportation to medical and dental appointments (when needed)
· Communicate results of medical appointments with manager
· Teach individuals how to do laundry (if required)
· Maintain daily log of events that occur with individuals who are being assisted
· Attends monthly staff and in-service training sessions.
The term "individuals" refers to our clients who have mild intellectual disabilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Caregiving or Supported Living: 2 years (Required)
- Developmental disabilities: 3 years (Required)
