About this position
SeeScan is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team of engineers supporting oceanographic, plumbing diagnostic, and utility locating products sold under the DeepSea, SeeSnake, SeekTech, and SeeScan brands.

In this position, you will
- Be a member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting multiple product development and sustaining engineering projects
- Develop and implement embedded software designs supporting oceanographic imaging and lighting products
- Define and document design performance requirements and perform validation testing
- Bring up and troubleshoot hardware using knowledge of analog and digital electronics and test equipment such as DMMs, DAQs, and oscilloscopes
- Identify, analyze and isolate problems on both system-wide and board-level scales

Your background
- 10+ years hands-on experience in embedded software development
- BS in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar with relevant experience
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually.
This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.
