White Mechanical, Inc. is seeking to hire a Residential HVAC Manager TRAINEE to join our Residential Division. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to grow into a management role! The Trainee will learn administrative and operational aspects in support of field personnel executing new residential installation, service, and sales. The Residential HVAC Manager TRAINEE reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Receives approved proposals & verifies accuracy of information; submits proposals to Accounting
- Creates job packets for new installation projects; coordinate engineering packets as needed for projects
- Coordinates work with big box retailers
- Reviews job information and submits for review
- Puts together warranty letters and close out packets
- Inputs schedule for residential team
- Checks in with teams to verify progress
- Orders equipment and materials for jobs
- Coordinates crane scheduling and lift rentals, if required
- Works with crew leader on approved projects
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements (when needed)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (when needed)
- Respond to emergency/service maintenance requests (when needed)
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Install, clean, and maintain HVACR systems (when needed)
- Install electrical components and wiring (when needed)
- Inspect and test HVACR systems and components (when needed)
- Keep records of work performed
Qualifications:
- 10 + years of experience in sales, service, installation, or a combination of the three
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Strong communication skills; self-starter that is capable of working independently
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate using latest technologies including Apple devices
- Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work environment involves sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Candidate will be subject to pre-employment drug testing, background check, and DMV check in accordance with CA law
