Responsibilities and duties
Performs a variety of duties to insure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a busy, high volume commercial food production facility. Duties include the overall maintenance of all fleet-related equipment and facilities. Duties involve upgrading, installation, repairs and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules of all serviceable fleet vehicle and facility equipment.
- Must have 2 years of Gasoline & Diesel engine experience.
- Facility Maintenance experience, including kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting highly preferred.
- Perform diagnostic and follow-up corrective repairs to include preventative maintenance on all Company owned vehicles.
- Inspect all vehicle hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
- Coordinate with offsite vendors to complete repairs beyond capabilities.
- Knowledge and ability to ensure proper operation & repair of vehicle charging systems, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical and hydraulics.
- Ability to trend, track and follow preventative measures/schedule relating to all functions of company vehicles and facility equipment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide consistent communication with leadership.
- Uphold company standards by maintaining a professional appearance and clean working environment.
Job position requires being available for occasional after-hours emergency calls and able to work outdoors during poor weather conditions.
