We have an immediate opportunity for a Customer-Focused Sr. Quality Engineer to lead our Certification and Releasing Teams

Supervise, grow, and develop the Certification & Releasing Teams and ensure that processes followed, managed, and improved as needed.
- Perform as the Customer-Facing Quality Engineer responsible for:

Resolution of customer quality issues
-
Act as a quality liaison between MetalTek and customer
- Monitoring and management of customer portals & scorecards

Implementation of customer-related quality improvement projects
- Responsible for Outsourced Vendor Quality

Ensuring new & existing vendors meet MetalTek’s quality requirements

Management of vendor corrective actions & improvements activities
-
Quality Engineering Improvement projects as assigned
A degree in engineering, industrial technology management or other relevant technical discipline is required. A minimum of five (5) years experience in quality or continuous improvement engineering in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with planning for quality control, auditing, and procedure writing are required. Knowledge of machining and/or metal casting processes and Lean / Six Sigma practices is strongly preferred.
