- This position begins during the 2024-2025 school year. Interviews will begin in August for a September start date.
- Work in a team environment; encourage open communication amongst support staff.
- Assist in the implementation of daily activities such as theater circle, open forum, physical activities, homework games, and other activities during the program day.
- Encourage participants to openly communicate in a group setting during theater circle and/or open forum.
- Assist the tutor(s) and teacher’s assistant in the encouragement and support of student homework assignments.
- Help develop games and strategies alongside tutors to encourage students to complete homework assignments and projects and study for upcoming tests.
- Relay pertinent information to site coordinator regarding incident and accident during the program hours. Responsible for providing pertinent information onto the incident report.
- Distribute and collect accurate attendance from all support staff.
- Effectively implement and assist students and complying with emergency procedures appropriate on the site and in conformity with procedures adopted by emergency service authorities to ensure the safety of the children and staff.
- Assist in managing all supplies, materials and equipment.
- Must attend and supervise all scheduled trips and performances.
