Service Technician
We are looking for someone who can perform assembly and provide tech support and trouble shooting for our customers. We need this person to also be willing to travel in MN, WI, ND, and SD area about 1 week per month to provide customers onsite service and equipment inspections. This position is about 65% assembly, 25% traveling and 10% other office work. This person would start working in our assembly department to gain a working knowledge of our equipment before getting trained to do outside service calls.
This equipment is pretty simple to service but we definitely need someone who has mechanical abilities. This person would need to have a current drivers license and be comfortable driving a sprinter type van on service calls. This person would need to have the physical ability to be able to load and unload equipment in the event a pick up or delivery was required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assembly Duties (approximately 65%)
Educate yourself with our product line by working with our assembly department.
Assist in assembly.
Inspect and repair lifts that come in.
Service Tech Duties on the road (approximately 25%)
Perform onsite service, inspections and repairs per customer needs.
Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment
Perform emergency service runs as needed
Operate vehicle in a safely manner and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Deliver equipment when needed
Be flexible with schedule to accommodate our customers changing work schedules
Customer Service Duties (approximately 10%)
Take phone calls from customers and diagnose technical problems and determine solutions.
Enter orders, document orders and issues that were discussed over the phone
Check emails and respond to customers
Provide RFQ’s for service calls, parts, and inspections.
Complete all Health System RMA’s.
Demonstrate proper use of equipment when needed
