Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from initial contact to the start of treatment. This is a critical role that requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in intake lead, sales, and customer service. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent customer service to our clients and will be responsible for managing incoming sales and leads for HCBS services.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and greet patients in person in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients seeking HCBS services.
- Manage incoming sales and leads effectively.
- Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Explain services clearly and persuasively to potential clients.
- Close deals efficiently and effectively.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.
- Implement intake policies and procedures.
- Work with other departments to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the intake process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in Home Care or related field.
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in phone systems and HHA Exchange
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
