Job Title: Usher (Guest Services Associate)
Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Guest Services Associates (Ushers). Guest Services Associates are responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all Dolby Theatre guests. In this role, you will proactively engage with patrons, answer questions, and offer general assistance. The position is part-time and requires availability during evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver the highest standard of customer service to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience
· Greet guests upon arrival and assist with their seating arrangements
· Respond quickly and courteously to guests' needs, questions, comments, and concerns
· Monitor guest behavior, address disruptions, and ensure compliance with theatre policies
· Scan and verify tickets for authenticity
· Assist guests with accessibility needs by providing equipment support
· Assist with program preparation including stuffing inserts, distributing programs, and putting away unused materials at the end of events
· Monitor entrances and exits to ensure guest safety
· Other duties as assigned
Skills:
· Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and friendly nature
· 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a theatre or arts-related field
· Ability to maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules
· Demonstrates professional integrity and dependability
· Celebrates diversity in the workplace, both among colleagues and within the audiences we serve
· Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
· Fluent in conversational English
· Must be 18 years or older
Availability Requirements:
Must be willing to work a flexible and irregular schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
