As a Technology Systems Strategist, you will be instrumental in defining and enhancing our customer's security and fire panel technology infrastructure. Your role involves designing and implementing advanced security strategies that align with business goals while addressing customer needs. Your expertise will drive the integration of state-of-the-art security technologies, optimize system configurations, and ensure seamless and secure operations within our customers' environments. We seek a proactive, motivated individual who can effectively manage inbound and outbound phone and email interactions with current and potential clients. You will be key in delivering tailored security solutions to our valued customers.
The position requires a basic understanding of electrical principles, excellent organization, computer and phone skills, attention to detail, and leadership. Experience with security/fire panels, CCTV, access control, and fire extinguishers is a huge plus.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and objectives.
- Develop and articulate comprehensive technology strategies aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and online platforms to provide exceptional technical support.
- Design, implement, and oversee the organization's technology systems architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and security.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions within internal database systems
- Installation, service, and troubleshooting of security systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and smart home technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including office staff and field technicians, to address customer concerns and provide technical insights.
- Evaluate existing systems and propose modifications or upgrades to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Establish guidelines for system integration and data flow between different technology components.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the implementation of outsourced technology solutions.
- Assist in providing support, guidance, and quotes to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of diverse technology domains, including hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex security concepts.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and online communication platforms.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Good time management is required.
- Familiarity with security solutions, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and cybersecurity, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex technology projects.
