HR Ministry Solutions is a faith-based non-profit organization that serves churches and ministries by helping them with their HR needs. This 501c3 organization was launched with the mission of helping churches be as passionate about protecting and providing for their staff as they are for the people they are reaching.
HRMS continues to grow rapidly and has expanded its reach nationwide with services and resources for Church Executives, HR Staff, and Ministry Managers. A few of these services and resources include HR audits, compensation audits, HR essentials, conferences, webinars, and online learning modules.
Role Snapshot
The role of the HR Project Specialist is to assist the Lead Project Coordinator and support a team of HR Advisors with the execution of systems and processes, assist with client projects and deliverables, and track client progress.
The HR Project Specialist is a detail-oriented and driven person with an innate ability to see God's fingerprints in HR for churches and has a passion for maximizing client effectiveness by creating clear processes, structure, and resources to equip clients with tools to help them to be compliant, healthy, and sustainable.

How You Will Contribute
· Follow a detailed process to create customized staff handbooks in Word, verify information, ensure policy compliance, and review for grammatical and formatting errors.
· Take a direct role in HR Audits by assisting the HR Advisor with reviewing client documents for compliance and best practices, prepping for the meeting, taking accurate notes during HR Audit meeting, using the notes and a detailed process to create an initial HR Audit report and HR Gap Checklist.
· Research various policies, laws, best practices and other HR compliance topics.
· Help create and/or customize policies, forms, checklists, guides, and other documents in Word.
· Edit documents extensively for flow, formatting, grammar, and errors in Word.
· Work with project management system (Smartsheet) to keep clients moving forward and meeting project deadlines while continually updating project status.
· Other related duties and projects as assigned.
You Got Skills?
Required:
- 2+ year working in an HR capacity
- 1+ year working in a church or ministry as a paid employee, in any capacity
- 3+ years of administrative experience
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Proactive in learning and actions, able to drive projects and timelines, and able to work autonomously with minimal or no oversight
· Preferred:
- Prefer some college and remote work experience
- Great at business casual email and phone etiquette
- Quick learner of new software
- A Plus if experienced in: Microsoft Teams and 365, Google Suite, Smartsheet, ministerial compensation, payroll, or benefits
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
