Position: Salesforce Administrator & IT Support Specialist
Location: NY (hybrid) - 3 days in office required
Department: Operations - IT
Reports To: VP, IT
Salary: $90k - $100k
Core Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration:
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet the needs of our organization.
- Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and best practices to ensure optimal system utilization.
- System Maintenance:
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and backups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on Salesforce-related inquiries and issues.
- Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to promote effective use of Salesforce features and functionalities.
- Create and maintain documentation on Salesforce processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Offer ongoing support and assistance to users to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests and system enhancements.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by the VP of Information Technology.
- IT support
- Manage incoming support tickets through the Helpdesk system.
- Prioritize and triage support requests based on urgency and impact on business operations.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to gather necessary information and provide updates on ticket status.
- Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of IT equipment and software.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT staff
Education, Experience, Skills Required:
- 4+ years work experience as a Salesforce Administrator role
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
- Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred
