Overview:
The System Administrator Senior is responsible to maintain the organization's Data Center infrastructure, network support and internal system's environments. Maintains the VMWare, Citrix, Active Directory, MS Azure/Office 365, Storage platform and administers the day-to-day operations. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology and banking field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish projects and strategic goals. Performs a variety of tasks and is capable in working in a fast-paced environment. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required to support the changes in the Business technology spectrum.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs business needs analysis, documentation, design, development, creation, testing and determines solutions to business problems related to technology implementation.
- Designs and supports server system(s) and supporting software.
- Documents new and existing technical business processes and information systems to help the company achieve its strategic technology goals.
- Works with stakeholders from the different business units, third party processors or support teams to ensure design specification and functionality meets the needs of management decision, support functions and those of our user base.
- Provides ideas to improve the overall business process life cycle and coordinates all tasks related to each process.
- Assignments require advanced skills and knowledge of hardware, software and system data.
- May work in multiple tasks that are not necessarily well defined, making recommendations that may impact an entire project or system.
- Develop and maintain systems for efficient mass-deployment and automation of applications, updates, and computer images.
- Make recommendations to modernize and improve data center, network, and systems efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Evaluate and deploy new systems and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and repair critical issues with servers and network infrastructure in a timely manner.
- Establishes and implements backup and recovery policies applicable to and appropriate for various network applications and network hardware and software.
- Ensures the existence and maintenance of appropriate, up-to-date documentation for keyActive Directory components, and ITAM system of record.
- May lead implementation of systems or networks, including planning, scheduling, and/or coordinating the activities of various parties involved in the implementation effort.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests in a fast-paced environment; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Handle escalations from junior-level system administrators.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience on IBM Cognos Framework Manager, Transformer, IBM Cognos Report Studio, Business Intelligence, MS SQL Server – SSIS - ETL Processes, SSRS, XML and Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, FoxTrot Scripting and Monarch.

Banking and Fiserv Premier Application Suite experience preferred.

Possesses a blend of strong banking business and high skill level proficiency using technical business analysis software.

Proficient in the use of data mining tools.

Experience with Enterprise Content Management software.

Familiarity with the concept of process workflow, check/document imaging and COLD.

Familiarity with DTS and Stored procedures.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong customer service skills

Ability to work in teams and with associates at all levels.

Maintain confidentiality of Bank and customer information.

Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and applications.

Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures.

Microsoft certification preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
