We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at T's Cafe. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in helping to prepare and cook delicious meals for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, including cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Cook and plate dishes according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus!
