Job Title: Deckhand
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deckhand to join our team. The Deckhand is a crucial member of the deck crew, responsible for the upkeep and operation of the vessel and its tender, excluding the engine and other systems managed by the engineer. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining the 22' Zodiac RIB and Santa Cruz 70 sailboat, including interior and exterior washing, polishing, and waxing.
- Operating and maintaining equipment.
- Assisting with docking and other operations.
- Performing general maintenance duties such as painting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Assisting the Captain and Owners with maintenance projects.
- Assisting with onboard operations and systems.
- Supervising guests as required.
- Using various sails, lines, knots, and radio and navigational equipment.
- Assisting during emergencies and effectively using safety equipment.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and strength.
- Knowledge of maritime safety.
- Willingness to work in harsh climates.
- Certification may be required, but on-the-job training is generally provided.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in racing events with the team.
- Assist with shore duties.
- Drive the Zodiac RIB to support the Santa Cruz 70.
- Drive to pick up supplies and assist with the transport of boats, company vehicles, and crew.
- Travel to various yacht clubs and marinas, including overnight deliveries.

Schedule: Full-time, travel required, including overnight stays.
