Role:
The Youth Services Coordinator serves as a member of the Youth Services team and will report directly to the Director of Youth Services. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of ITAV’s out-of-school time program and ITAV alumni services. In this role, the Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with teachers and administrative staff to support student success and program engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and lead engaging program activities in life skills, social-emotional learning, and STEM, ensuring alignment with grant requirements.
Ensure successful implementation, reporting of program activities, and compliance with grant obligations.
Establish and manage the Youth Advisory Board, including planning and facilitating meetings, activities, and youth listening sessions.
Conduct program orientations for facilitators and parents, and support participant recruitment and engagement.
Assist with data collection and entry in Cityspan and eCornerstone platforms.
Mentor and serve as a positive role model for students, while connecting with broader community efforts to enhance service delivery.
Cultivate relationships with alumni, organize alumni engagement events, and participate in professional development and required grant-related training.

Position Type: Full-Time
Required Education & Training
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, or a related field.
3+ years of leadership experience in out-of-school time (OST) programs
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Cityspan and eCornerstone
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of postsecondary education options, admission application procedures, financial aid and scholarship application processes, and admission requirements for Illinois Colleges and Universities
