The primary role of the ERP/WMS Microsoft Business Central IT Coordinator is to be the tech lead in maintaining the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and be the in-house ERP and WMS.
As the ERP Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of corporate enterprise resource planning (ERP). They will be the expert and power users for Sun Noodle.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the in-house ERP & WMS expert and assist users with any technical issues.
- Assist projects related to the ERP.
- Extract data, create report templates, and analyze the ERP system.
- Test new features and enhancements to the ERP.
- Perform admin tasks in the ERP system.
- Facilitate and assist ERP vendors in resolving technical issues on a timely basis.
- Prepare and manage end-user training documentation for ERP and WMS systems.
- Provide ad hoc training on system functionality by the business owners or admin users as requested.
- Implement ERP & WMS process to increase operational efficiencies and suggest system improvements.
- Perform as the liaison between functional teams and the ERP vendor.
- Provide support for additional systems integrated with the ERP.
- Assist in initial troubleshooting of issues such as software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Knowledge of Accounting and ERP accounting functions
- Must have back-end Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Microsoft Navision.
- Knowledge of WMS preferred.
- Knowledge of Jet Reports & SQL preferred.
- Experience working in a Microsoft-centric environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience in software applications support preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting software, hardware, and network connectivity issues is a plus.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing & Warehouse environment is a must.
- Ability to move quickly and move between different tasks efficiently.
- Ability to take the initiative and be self-motivated.
