CME’s is currently seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to lead the branch operations of our Anaheim, CA facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehousing, distribution, installation, and production operations of the Southern CA branch with the Southern CA DTS (Direct to Site Delivery / Installation) and Warehouse departments as direct reports. This position will be responsible for maintaining sound inventory control practices of the Southern CA warehouse as well as general oversight of the building facilities. This position is based out of the Anaheim, CA office and will report to the Corporate Director, Distribution Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to create and maintain inter-departmental continuity and proper communication channels between the warehouse and DTS departments and other operational departments including purchasing, customer service, biomedical service, human resources, and administration.
- Coach, mentor and provide leadership to DTS and warehouse department heads.
- Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and problem-solving activities relating to physical environment, inventory, personnel, and inter-departmental issues.
- Ensure departmental goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
- Engage in creation and implementation of corporate level strategic and tactical initiatives as required.
- Provide support and function as liaison to sales team
- Maintain frequent communication with Corporate Director, Distribution Operations.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Oversee preparation and participate in physical inventories at least annually (or as required)
- Quality control and accuracy of inventory moving in and out of the warehouse utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Responsible for building maintenance, upkeep, and alarm response.
- Follows and executes company safety directives
- Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years of related experience with a work history showing progressive levels of responsibility in relevant operational and leadership areas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and business ERP
- Experience using Microsoft suite of products (advanced experience in Excel and Outlook)
- Healthcare supply chain experience and/or working in a distribution environment a plus
- Ability to have flexible hours as the conditions dictate
