Purpose: The Community Mental Health Clinical Program Director of Services coordinates a variety of administrative and program management tasks and should possess credentials as an LMHP or experienced LMHP-Type. The community mental health program coordinator will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties.
Duties:
The activities associated with the primary responsibility of this position are:
- Overseeing agency referral process and service implementation for MHSB, IIH, OP and, Crisis Stabilization Services.
- Unit Authorization Management Across Services
- Clinical Documentation Training & Compliance
- Manage all referrals, manage a referral book/tracker and report on referrals admitted, not admitted, pending, and or denied.
- Ensure program assigned meets its referral targets monthly
- Supervision and Compliance with Clinical Supervisors, QMHP and all other program staff.
- Risk Management and Quality Improvement Practices
- Overall Clinical Management of Clinical Documentation, Programs, and Clinical Authorization Department
- Staying abreast of State policies and procedures and changes.
- Other Program Duties as needed
· Responsible for ensuring the program meets its referral goal monthly and troubleshooting with supervisor to identify new ideas to encourage the growth of the program.
- Meet with community liaisons weekly to ascertain leads and schedule assessment of referrals.
- Maintaining a balance of new referrals and new staff, ensuring the program has proper staff to carry out program utilization goals, and communicating all staff needs to Workforce development so the program meets its utilization goals monthly.
- Meet with target community mental health clients to explain the program and assist with the orientation process.
- Conduct quality assurance with clients in programs to ensure needs on ISP are being meet, reporting any needs outside of services to your team.
- Complete weekly utilization reports for each client and staff in the program and track utilization percentages.
- Ensure the program assigned meets its 85% utilization expectation weekly.
- Maintain a caseload of up to 2 clients until the agency has reached its desired goal as needed
- Provide program productivity updates weekly to COO and CEO.
- Manage mid-week and end-of-week hourly check-ins with staff and troubleshoot challenges with staff/clinician and or client to meet utilization goals weekly.
- Meet direct hour expectations as assigned by supervisor weekly.
- Assist with planning, developing, and implementing program marketing events.
- Participate in all leadership meetings and training.
- Complete weekly productivity and marketing tracking reports.
- Responsible for building relationships weekly in areas that are underserved or in places that need to hear about the services we provide.
- Oversight of Newport News and Norfolk, Virgnia locations
- Fill-in as needed.
- Assist the program team with other duties as assigned by the COO.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in social service, clinical psychology, counseling, public health administration, or related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in mental health services
- Minimum of three (3) years if work experience in Mental Health Management and/or Leadership
- Must have a minimum of LMHP-Type or higher LMHP preferred
Pay & Compensation:
- 43 Hours weekly Salary Non-Exempt. Salary Range ($64,844 - $70, 644 Annually)
- Bi-weekly Pay
- Quarterly Bonus opportunities
- Salary Negoitable for Licensed Mental Health Providers (LMHP, PsyD, LMFT, etc.)
- Monday -Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00pm and 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
