Vice President of Human Resources

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 annually
Overview
Are you a seasoned HR leader looking to elevate your career who has prior non-profit experience? We are seeking an experienced Leader in Human Resources to join our senior leadership team as the Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR). This role is designed for someone currently in a Senior HR role, HR Director, or HR Manager yearning to step into a senior leadership position.
In this role, you will oversee the Human Resources Department, collaborating closely with all levels of management to ensure the implementation of best HR practices, compliance with HR laws and regulations, and fostering employee recruitment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Human Resources Department and all its functions
- Lead a team of 5, including an HR Manager
- Coordinate with all management levels to implement HR best practices
- Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations
- Lead employee recruitment and engagement initiatives
- Oversee employee benefits, leave management, and other support areas
- Manage compensation planning and performance management consultations
- Report to the Chief Executive Officer while working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other Vice Presidents
Experiences and Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant fields in Human Resources with 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of HR leadership experience
- Preference for candidates with SHRM Certification
- Proficient in using common Office and Human Resource programs, including payroll and HRIS systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
- Solid business and financial skills, including financial planning and budgeting
- Knowledgeable in labor laws and HR practices
- Non-profit experience is highly preferred
Excellent Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000, based on experience, degree, and certification
- 403(B) matching: Company contribution up to 3%
- Signing bonus: $2,000, payable over the first six months

Schedule
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Based in administrative offices with required travel to agency locations (travel reimbursement provided)

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
