Essential Functions and Primary Duties
· In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills with real estate clients
· Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team
· Manage compliance and consulting in areas of Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, Section 1231 gain/loss calculations as well as an ability to analyze and implement certain aspects of partnership/LLC operating agreements with respect to tax applications.
· Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team.
· Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
· Understand the client’s organization, procedures, and internal policies.
· Understanding your clients’ goals and needs and servicing clients directly.
· Owning client relationships and work.
· Strategizing with Managing Directors regarding planning.
· Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clients.
· Researching tax and accounting issues and providing guidance to clients.
· Working closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
· Foster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culture.
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Relevant Field
· 7 years experience in public accounting or related field
· 5 years supervisory
· Must have and preserve required licenses
· Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
· Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
· Proficient use of applicable technology
· Must be able to travel based on business needs

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
