Job Description
Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay. Determines a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. Helps guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Verifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit-checking procedures. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel.
Qualifications
Ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers
Mitigate customer complaints as needed
Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
