Job Purpose:
The Vice President of Marketing and Communications reports to the President/CEO and has responsibility for leading our marketing initiatives including brand awareness, events promotion and promotional campaigns on behalf of the Chamber and our members.
This full-time position has six primary goals.
1. Develop and Lead Marketing Strategy
o Craft a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the Chamber’s overall mission and goals.
o Identify key target audiences and develop targeted marketing campaigns across various channels.
o Stay on top of marketing trends and technologies, implementing innovative strategies to reach and engage our audience.
o Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and platforms.
2. Membership Marketing and Promotion
o Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract new members and retain existing ones.
o Highlight the value proposition of Chamber memberships and showcase member benefits.
o Cultivate strong relationships with member businesses to understand their marketing needs.
3. Strategic Communication and Content Creation
o Serve as the organization’s “storyteller,” to communicate the impact of our chamber experience, and to lift up our members.
o Oversee the creation of marketing content (written, visual, and digital) to promote Chamber events, programs, and member success stories.
o Manage the Chamber’s website and social media presence, ensuring content is high-quality, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
4. Event Marketing and Promotion
o Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote Chamber events, programs, and initiatives.
o Collaborate with event organizers to ensure effective promotion and registration.
o Measure the success of marketing campaigns.
5. Marketing Analytics and Reporting
o Develop and implement strategies to track and analyze marketing campaign performance.
o Generate reports to measure marketing effectiveness and inform future strategies.
6. Management and Oversight
o Manage the Marketing budget and staff resources effectively.
o Set performance metrics and track progress towards achieving marketing goals.
o Lead committee(s) as needed.
o Provide support for WorkStream initiatives and clients as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
