Job Goal:
The Shipping and Packaging associate coordinates the activities of workers responsible for packaging products and preparing them for shipping both locally and internationally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions to the shipping floor.

Standardize procedures to ensure efficiency of workers.
- Ensure correct shipment of orders.
- Assist employees with packaging and shipping issues.
- Ensure materials shipped match records, manifests, invoices, or orders.
- Record shipment data, such as weight and dimensions, very accurate piece counts, train new hires, maintain updated safety reports.
- Work daily with Inspection, Quality, Manufacturing and Production Control to maintain on time delivery of shipments.

Prepare documents, including but not limited to, work order updates and crate packing lists.

Loading and unloading of trucks.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Highschool degree or equivalent
-
Forklift Experience
-
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Technical Capacity.
- Time Management.
- Excellent Organizational Skills.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. M-F 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
