This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.
Main Functions
Vice President of Operations has the authority to direct the activities, schedule and prioritize
operations of all production areas, as well as Raw Material and Finished Goods
Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, Planning and Facilities/Maintenance. Establishes
production goals and tracks data for trends to accomplish goals.
Authority to alter standard routings where appropriate and as allowed by customer to
meet schedules. Authority to approve air freight for products and or services that may
affect product delivery.
Responsible for Departmental Budgets, staffing and controlling costs associated with
the entire production process as required to meet the business plan. Is a member of
the Executive Management Team. Responsible for on time shipping of the company’s
product in an efficient and timely manner with the best utilization of materials and
personnel.

Preferred Skills
- APICS Certification
- Fluent with M2M MRP/ERP system
- Knowledge of military and commercial specifications and standards
- Lean manufacturing /six sigma training and experience preferred.
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in any Engineering Field or APICS Certification.
Experience Requirements
5 years’ experience Production Management role.
