Palm Desert Vacation Properties is looking for a Reservations Agent/Guest Service agent to join our fantastic team. We combine property management and hospitality to deliver outstanding guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, an the ability to book guests into the properties, clearly communicate about properties, answer common questions, create work orders, and utilize booking software, phone, text, and email.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in hospitality (vacation rentals and or hotels)
- Smartphone literate (e-mail, apps, etc.)
- One of the key requirements for this role is the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. This skill is crucial in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Understanding hospitality and delivering a great brand experience with positive communication in all channels.
- Ability to work two weekends as needed.
- Ability to be on call after hours occasionally.
- Ability to lift to 45lbs
- Background checks and drug tests are required for all employees
- This position is required to work from the office three days out of the week
The Guest Service Agent position is at will. This position will continue to contribute to the guest experience of staying with Palm Desert Vacation Properties. Below are some general duties and responsibilities for this position; however, there will be additional responsibilities similar to those listed.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones, emails, texts
- Ability to answer questions about rental properties, community amenities, and nearby attractions.
- Selling – Ability to sell and upsell
- Show properties to potential guests
- Utilize booking software, phone software, and email
- Process reservations, process credit card payments, and assist guests with understanding the rental agreement terms if needed.
- Clearly and professionally communicating with all guests, owners, and team members
- On occasion, deliver items to properties as needed
- Create work orders and coordinate repairs with guests and service providers
- Other administrative items as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
