Job Summary:
Join our team as an Executive Chef and lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences, mainly focusing on foods from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico. As an integral part of our organization, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, inventory management, and shift coordination to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and presentation standards
- Manage inventory levels and control costs effectively
- Coordinate shift schedules and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Oversee food production processes to meet quality and quantity standards
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the dietary department to create nutritious and appealing menu options
- Utilize bartending skills to create innovative beverage offerings
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with dietary requirements and menu planning
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
