Job Summary:
The IT Projects Manager is responsible for driving multiple client IT projects as well as internal IT initiatives. Project types widely vary but generally include: infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, SharePoint, Wi-Fi buildouts, site onboardings, Telecom/ISP upgrades, desktop replacements, line-of-business software deployments, mergers/acquisitions, BPO. The IT PM will directly interface with clients and the company's virtual IT Directors and manage our cross-functional delivery and support teams at all stages of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate with the Client stakeholders and Softrim cross-functional teams to lead and communicate the status of projects
- Write scopes for proposals and project plans
- Plan and convey resource needs to internal department heads
- Implement Project Management tools within MS365/SharePoint/Teams
- Assist the Softrim team of virtual IT Directors in project management
- Understand the contractual, financial, and relationship arrangements of the projects
- Ensure the overall momentum, timely execution, and quality of project deliverables
- Monitor progress and predict potential blockers
- Apply experience and innovative thinking to produce solutions
- Create and maintain project documentation from inception through completion
- Ensure technical documentation is submitted to the company knowledge base by the project SMEs
- Plan and confirm user acceptance testing
- Identify and communicate out-of-scope items and opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field of study
- At least 5 years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365 projects involving SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams (preferred)
- Experience in managing cloud, infrastructure, and VoIP projects (preferred)
- Travel to client locations as needed

Employment Terms: Full-time, Exempt, Salary, In-Office. Eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability) and 401(k) after introductory period. Typical business hours are 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday, excluding company-observed holidays. Some weekend and after-hours work is required, as well as some travel.
