Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in QuickBooks Online and advanced proficiency in Excel to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance: Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial data.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve any payment-related issues.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions.
Prepare regular financial statements and reports for management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide insights to management.
Tax Compliance: Collaborate with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial workflows.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with a strong focus on QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with other accounting software and tools is a plus.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Xero
- Excellent numerical skills, including 10-key typing proficiency
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts, including governmental accounting and corporate accounting

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
