Job Summary:
The Service Advisor at Mazda of Columbia is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction by providing accurate and timely vehicle maintenance and repair recommendations to customers. This individual contributor role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of automotive service and repair processes. Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range of $55,000 to $100,000, paid weekly

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service and repair needs
- Provide accurate and detailed service and repair recommendations to customers, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services
- Schedule service appointments and maintain accurate records of all service and repair work completed
- Maintain a thorough understanding and up-to-date knowledge of Mazda vehicles, service processes, and industry trends
- Continuously strive to exceed customer expectations and promote positive experiences with the dealership
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in automotive service and repair preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive service and repair processes, including basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Proficient in using automotive service software and computer systems
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
