PRN Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description
A PRN Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing treatment to patients with physical disabilities or injuries. The assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and will help patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities. The assistant will also help with patient education and documentation of treatment progress.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in providing treatment to patients
- Help patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities
- Assist with patient education
- Document treatment progress
- Communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain equipment and treatment areas
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a physical therapy setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
