As a Senior Principal Civil/Structural Engineer, you will hold a senior leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and mentorship to the civil engineering discipline. You will play a critical role in shaping the organization's engineering strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in project execution.
Responsibilities:
· Perform building sizing and selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables
· Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities
· Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders
· Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project progress reporting and schedule requirements
· Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule
· Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required
· Work is highly independent
· Prepares, reviews, and approves foundation, structural steel, building, and earthwork calculations, requisitions, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs
Education/Licenses/Certifications/Skills:
· 7+ Years Experience
· Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering
· Professional Engineer licensure preferred
· Extensive knowledge and expertise in civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in the energy sector
· Advanced proficiency in emerging civil engineering software and tools
· Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations
· Advanced proficiency in geotechnical and structural engineering principles
· In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices
· Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal
· High level of personal integrity
· Strong relationship capabilities
· Proficient in both written and spoken English
