About our IT Support Specialists:
Our IT Support Sepcialists are the primary point of contact for the organizations technical needs. They help service our clinic locations by answering how-to questions, providing system and network status, providing remote support, and troubleshooting various technologies and applications.
What we are looking for:
A compassionate individual that has an Associate Degree, with previous experience with electronic health records and technical support experience preferred.
What you will do:
- Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding or issues with software, hardware, connectivity, printing, telephones, video conferencing, electronic health record, or other similar concerns.
- Diagnose and provide a path to resolving various technical issues through triaging initial communication with end users, escalating problems to tier 2, or IT Support Supervisor when required.
- Responsible for documenting support requests received via email, chat, telephone, electronic ticketing systems, etc.
- Ability to handle majority of requests without assistance, following established procedures and using available knowledge bases, help tools, and Internet searches to follow issue through to a proper resolution
- Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products
- Follows up with end users to ensure issues are resolved
- Instructs users in proper use of hardware and software
- Loads specified software packages such as operating systems, office suite software, third party applications, updates, service packs, security patches, and firmware onto PCs, laptops, thin clients, iPads, smartphones, printers, fax machines, video codecs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
