AJP Electric, Inc. is hiring an experienced Project Coordinator in the construction industry.

*AJP Electric, Inc. is an established electrical and civil contractor in the Phoenix area that provides construction services throughout Arizona. Our civil division specializes in wet/dry utility installations, airports, and roadways including underground utilities, traffic signals, grading, minor concrete, minor asphalt, electrical, and signage.
*Position Overview:
*Applicants must:
- have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Coordinator IN THE CONSTRUCTION field, preferably in the Civil/ Electrical field
- proficiency in using Procore software/ Microsoft Outlook/ Microsoft Excel
- must understand how to use a CPM schedule/ weekly/ biweekly schedule and be able to create/ continue ongoing schedules
- excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- experience in preparing submittals and Requests for Information (RFI's)
- have a strong understanding of plan analysis, material counts, and document preparation.
- - Communicate and help Construction Managers with construction items, trade issues, and scheduling.
- Process change orders, back charges, and review invoices when necessary.
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and on site, answering phones/ the front door.
- Process, send, and schedule warranty work requests with trades to resolve customer complaints in a timely professional manner.
- Utilize Excel or Google Sheets to log and track customer service inquiries.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or change orders.
Bilingual in English/ Spanish is a huge plus
Position Requirements:
Applicants must:
- must be at least 18 years old
- prove legal status to work through E-Verify
- receive weekly compensation with payroll checks (no cash payments)
- have reliable transportation (projects are in various locations throughout Phoenix and surrounding areas)
- pass a post-offer drug screen- this includes no marijuana useage
- maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
