Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide expert tax compliance and advisory services to corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Prepare tax returns for various entities, individuals, and trusts with meticulous attention to detail.
- Review tax filings prepared by colleagues, offering constructive feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct financial projections and forecasting to aid clients in making informed decisions.
- Represent clients before IRS and State agencies with professionalism and expertise.
- Offer comprehensive estate and trust planning services.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering their career growth and development.
- Foster a positive team culture built on respect, collaboration, and excellence.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- CPA certification and MST qualification are preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
- Strong work ethic, willing to commit to 50+ hours during tax season.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
